NAG: Is the freedom of the software the same freedom as other intellectual works?

I don't think the issues are the same for art/fiction as for practical works such as software. For art/fiction, people must have at least the freedom to redistribute exact copies noncommercially, and the freedom to cite parts with attribution to make other works that are overall very different.

Eppure sono tanti i softwareliberisti che credono che le libertà del software debbano essere le stesse libertà della altre opere dell'ingegno. E c'è anche chi sostiene che scegliere una licenza open content non commerciale e/o non derivativa sia una scelta sbagliata... chissà se un giorno apriranno gli occhi.
